3. Which phone system version is supported?

4. Does the kettle need to be plugged in when it's in Keep warm mode?
With the two-tier structure, the kettle can keep the water warm physically for a short time, if you want to make the time longer, please plug it in.
5. What's the temperature range in Keep warm mode? What's the highest degree?
You can select a water temperature you want with the app within the range of 40℃-90℃.
6. Will the kettle boil again when it's in Keep warm mode?
There're two ways to get warm water. One is to cool down the boiled water to a set temperature, the other is to warm up the water to a set temperature. In both ways, the water won't be boiled repeatedly.
7. What's the power of this kettle when it's in Keep warm mode?
The kettle works with a low power consumption when it's in Keep warm mode.
8. Can I use the kettle in high altitude areas?
With the increase in elevation, the air pressure is lowered. The water will be boiled at a lower boiling point, and the kettle will keep warming up without automatic stop after boiling. Before you buy the product, be aware that any damages of the kettle caused by environmental factors won't be covered by our warranty policy.
9. How about the kettle's sound when it boils?
The kettle will work under a big power of 1800 W in a very short time, so generally there may be some noises in normal status.
10. What brand of thermostat is used?
We adopted the STRIX thermostat imported from Britain, and the temperature sensor imported from Japan. The product quality is well guaranteed.
11. Does the stainless steel of the kettle's inner structure reach food grade?
The stainless steel we adopted meets the requirements of the National Standards GB9684, it's safe for use.
12. How to clean the limescale in the kettle?
To remove the scale, use the specific scale cleaner sold in the supermarket, or add some citric acid in the kettle and boil again.
13. How long is the warranty period? What should I if there is a failure?

14. Is the kettle's inner part built as integrated and seamless?
Yes, the inner structure is integrated seamless. It's easy to clean.
15. Will the kettle cut down the power supply automatically when it's boiled?
In Warm up mode, the power supply will be cut down when the water is boiled. In Keep warm mode, it won't be cut down during the set period of time, but will be cut down beyond the period.
16. How to clean the kettle's inner part when first use?
All parts in the kettle that will be in contact with water is made of food-grade material, just clean it with water before using.
17. Why does the kettle generate limescale (white spots) after being used for several times?
The tap water is too hard. Calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate in it may generate limescale. You can avoid this by using purified water.
18. What are the package contents?
There are 1 kettle, 1 base, and 1 Manual.
19. How long and how much power does it take to boil a pot of water?
It takes 5 minutes and 0.15 kWh to boil the water. It takes 5 minutes and 0.15 kWh to boil the water.
20. What kind of material is used for the shell?
The PP materials that we used are colorless and odorless as well as in line with the national standard.
21. Can I boil the water lower than the lowest level?
The water level can't be lower than the lowest level or beyond the highest level marked on the inner part of the kettle. Too much water is easy to spray out when it's boiled.
22. Does the copper sheet on the base have electricity?
The copper sheet is connected to the earth terminal without electricity leakage and it meets the national safety standards (Attention: Don't touch the copper with other metals).
23. Does the kettle generate limescale when boiling water?
The kettle can't filter water itself, so it may generate some limescale when boiling tap water. Using purified water and Mi Water Purifier is suggested.
24. Are all materials of the kettle's inner part stainless steel? Are there some plastic being used?
The materials of the kettle's inner part, cover and temperature sensor are all 304 stainless steel.
25. How to connect the kettle to Mi Home app?
(1) Make sure the Bluetooth feature is on. (2) Download Mi Home app from the app store. (3) Search for the kettle manually in the app, and hold the "Keep warm" button more than 3 seconds until you receive the notification of connection successfully. See details in product manual
26. What should I do if I spilled water on the base or drop the base into the water accidentally?
If it happens, shake out of the water and put the base in a well-ventilated place until it's totally dry.
27. How to maintain the kettle if it's not used for a long time?
If you won't use the kettle for a long time, it is recommended to put its power line away in the base, clean up and package the kettle, then keep it in a dry place.
28. How to maintain the kettle properly during daily use?
Keep the following points in mind: (1) Operate in strict accordance with the instructions, keep the kettle's cover, switch and other parts intact. (2) Boiling dry will damage the thermostat and heating element. (3) Don't spill the water into the handle and base. It can easily cause electricity leakage and make the kettle burn out. (4) You should clean up the kettle every 2-3 months.
29. Can I plug the kettle together with other appliances in one outlet? How many amperes power supply should I use?
You'd better not plug them together in one outlet. You should use outlet of 10-13 amps because the kettle has large electric current.

Unplug the kettle when it's not in use to ensure safety.
31. What do the error codes mean? How to troubleshoot them?
Error code: E01: Warming up error Reason: The heating tube is disconnected because that the relay can't disconnect or close the circuit. Solution: Go to mi.com for troubleshooting. E02: Sensor error Reason: The temperature sensor may be an open/short circuit. Solution: Go to mi.com for troubleshooting. E04: Boil dry Reason: The kettle may be warming up without water or all the water has been boiled dry. Solution: 1. Unplug the power supply, and put appropriate amount of water in the kettle to boil again. 2. If the problem is still unsolved after you've tried several times with the methods above, go to mi.com for troubleshooting.
